We are all waiting for the New Year with the hope that this year will bring us happiness. That it is from the New Year that our life will begin to improve. Of course it's a good thing to hope and believe. Have you tried praying? I am sure that many of us will say no. The chimes, Hurray, that's all our prayer, after which we sit and wait for happiness to fall into our hands. Nothing has changed, everything is the same.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! ALL HEALTH AND HAPPINESS!

This is our modest New Year's table. It is understandable - the Christmas Philippov fast is still going on. Children and grandchildren are celebrating with their companies, and we are at home. We drank liquor from the monastery of Subiaco, where Saint Benedict was fed, pecked at something and listened to good music.

Today in our All Saints Church in the evening there was a New Year's prayer service. It is always served on December 31st, New Year's Eve.
